When the model room is reviewed and casegoods are approved, your Kosta representative will coordinate with the design team and the purchasing firm to make sure that the required modifications requested to the shop drawings are implemented. At Kosta, we handle and supervise all shipments 24/7 for our clients, providing them with an up-to-date location of the containers and estimated delivery dates. One of our experienced project managers will be devoted to bringing your project to its early stages until completion. Furthermore your assigned Kosta professional will coordinate with the purchasing firm and the design team to give their expert opinion and answer any questions regarding finish samples controls, matching samples shipments and logistics of all COM and COL (customers own material/leather).
Each of our Kosta team members is focused on the details of each piece. They will be involved in making sure the model room is developed, manufactured and delivered within the lead time requested. Upon receiving a purchase order, we will proceed to generate the model room shop drawings within 3 to 7 business days. This will depend on the quantity of items on the purchase order. Our shop drawings are extremely detailed, as they are exactly what will be programed into our CNC machines (computer numeric controlled machines). Once the design team revises them, any modifications to the drawings will take between 1 and 2 business days.
When developing your project, we work diligently to provide finish samples that can match any of your requirements. As soon as we receive a control finish sample, it is forwarded to the plant for finish matching. To ensure quality and optimal production, this process takes approximately 3 weeks from receipt to delivery of the finish samples. This lead time will fall within the time frame parameters of the model room.
After finishes and shop drawings have been approved by design, a short and effective 5 week production time begins. Prior to production, we will provide a timetable and schedule in order to keep all parties informed. Updates on the production are available on a weekly basis. Throughout development, we provide our design and purchasing team pictures of the progress for feedback. If any comments are made we review them and address them on a timely basis. Once the casegoods are completed, studio pictures are provided to the team, prior to shipping.
